We're supposed to be heading to my brother-in-law's cottage for a few days, but haven't left yet. Food-poisoning has stricken the prodigal son, so I need to make sure he's on the mend before we leave him home holding the fort. While at the cottage, I'll be working on:
"Emmaline" from last summer's Knitty (http://knitty.com/ISSUEss10/PATTemmaline.php). Using some stash Bernat Gloucester, held doubled. So far, so good.
I've no idea what I'll do with my new blog and new domain name, but here's to new things.
I am a nurse with too much yarn. I may turn to weaving to put a dent in my stash, but for now I have about a half-dozen projects on the needles and an unrealistic concept of my knitting speed (which is sloooooww). I'll need to putter around in Weebly a bit more to make things pretty, but for now I added this blog onto a lesson I created last year for a course I took that will lead to a certificate as an educator of adults. I am interested in sleep, particularly its relation to older adults and overall well-being. I've been finding that essential oils in an ultrasonic diffuser have had a positive effect on my sleep so I'm exploring that. I am on Ravelry and frequently check out knitting blogs such as the Yarn Harlot, (a fellow Torontonian, though I'm now displaced). I may find myself making some soap using a melt and pour kit in the near future, too. So, that's all for now.
